Product Description
Bring the character of authentic old Indian craftsmanship into your interiors with this Vintage Hand-Carved Elephant & Shree Ram Traditional Motif Wooden Candle, Planter & Statue Holder, thoughtfully repurposed from an original old architectural wooden element.
One of the main faces features a traditional elephant-inspired carved design, framed with decorative borders and repeating ornamental patterns. The opposite main face carries an old traditional carved marking resembling “Shree”, which is partially worn and faded due to age and previous use.
The upper portion features a broad, rounded bowl-like architectural form with multiple horizontal carved lines, grooves and raised bands. Inside the top is a fitted iron plate with a central pin, providing a practical surface for styling a suitable pillar candle or other decorative object.
The wood retains its natural aged brown colour, with variations from warm brown to deeper weathered tones. Its surface displays visible wood grain, old marks, scratches, worn areas, carving wear, softened edges and naturally developed patina.
Visible cracks, splits, separations and irregularities are present throughout the old wood. Some carved details have naturally faded, become softened or partially disappeared over time.
The upper plate can be styled with a pillar candle, separate plant pot, flower vase, brass idol, small statue, sculpture or other decorative object.

Styling Ideas
Style this vintage wooden holder with a large pillar candle to create a warm statement piece near a home temple or pooja area, console, side table or decorative pedestal.
It can also be styled with a separate potted plant, flower arrangement, brass idol, small statue, decorative bowl or sculpture, depending on the setting.
For plants or fresh flowers, always place them inside a separate pot or vase before positioning them on the holder. Do not plant directly into the vintage wooden piece or allow water to remain in contact with the old wood.
The piece can be displayed in an entryway, living room, console area, pooja room, covered veranda, courtyard or garden-adjacent covered space. Its aged character complements Indian, Rustic, Wabi-Sabi, Bohemian, Organic and Eclectic interiors.
Care Instructions
- Dust gently using a soft, dry cloth.
-
Keep the piece away from direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight, as it may affect the aged wood surface, colour and natural patina over time.
- Avoid exposure to water or excessive moisture.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners or strong polish.
- Preserve the original cracks, splits, marks, grain, carving wear and aged surface.
- Always use a separate pot or vase when styling plants or fresh flowers.
- When using a candle, ensure it is properly secured on the provided iron plate.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
