Both pieces feature beautiful hand-carved ornamental detailing, with prominent curved scroll-like forms, vertical carved lines, layered borders, and decorative detailing extending around the wooden bases. The substantial carved form gives each piece a strong architectural and sculptural appearance.
The pieces retain their naturally aged wooden surface, with brown wood tones and visible traces of old distressed blue/turquoise colour across different carved areas. The faded colour, visible grain, darker aged sections, worn surfaces, and carving variations beautifully highlight their old and weathered character.
Being authentic old wooden pieces, small cracks, fine splits, scratches, worn edges, old marks, colour loss, carving wear, and uneven textures can be seen in different areas.
