The most distinctive feature of this piece is its beautiful hand-carved bird and foliage detailing on one side and other side Elephant.
The upper section has a broad rounded form with hand-carved detailing, while the lower wooden body carries deeper decorative carving.
The wood retains its natural aged wood colour, featuring warm brown tones, darker aged areas, visible wood grain, old marks, worn edges, carving wear, and naturally weathered surfaces. Small cracks, splits, surface variations, and signs of previous use remain visible and have intentionally been preserved as part of its authentic vintage character.
The piece also retains its original aged iron elements. An old iron band surrounds the upper section, while another aged iron band/support runs around the lower base. Additional old iron support can also be seen around parts of the wooden structure. Their naturally rusted and weathered appearance complements the aged wood and reflects the piece's long history.
The upper surface can be styled with a suitable pillar candle, plant pot, flower vase, small statue, brass idol, sculpture, or decorative object, making this vintage piece both decorative and versatile.
