Bring the character of authentic old Indian craftsmanship into your interiors with this Vintage Intricately Hand-Carved Wooden Bowl Candle, Planter & Statue Holder, thoughtfully repurposed from an original old wooden architectural element.
The most distinctive feature of this piece is its intricate hand-carved detailing, with different patterns visible across its various sides. One side features a prominent central floral motif, surrounded by finely worked geometric, linear, curved and repeating border patterns. Other sides display additional fine linear, leaf-like, curved and geometric carvings, giving the piece a richly detailed appearance from different viewing angles.
Inside the upper rounded section is an aged round iron plate fitted with a central pin, suitable for securely positioning a pillar candle. The surface can also be styled with a separate plant pot, flower vase, small statue, brass idol, sculpture or decorative object.
The wood retains its beautiful natural aged brown colour, with warm and darker tonal variations, visible grain, old marks, worn edges and carving wear. Small cracks, splits and surface irregularities have naturally developed over time and remain visible as part of its authentic old character.
An aged iron band is also present around the lower section. Its naturally weathered and rusted appearance has been retained along with the original wood, further highlighting the age and history of the piece.
